My name is Margaret and I live in Stirling in Central Scotland. I am 65 years old and never in a million years would I have thought I would have a website of my own…It just proves you are never too old to begin something new.

I have been married to a lovely man called Jim, (My husband and best friend) for nearly 46 years we were married on 14th October 1961

We have three handsome sons Alec (Alexander is 43 yrs old and is married to Kate) they have given us two beautiful grand daughters Kayleigh 18 and Rebecca she is 13 years old.

Jim (James) is 42 and he is married to Alison and they have two handsome wee boys Martin is 13 and Ryan is 10

Then there is our youngest son Ross he was born 27 years ago. Ross was born with Cerebral Palsy and was not expected to live. He i went to college and has his HND in computing support But has decided he wants to go into web design and is reading all he can and teaching himself HTML and Dreamweaver and is now my webmaster and he is now is doing open university for his BSc.

I had never written any poems until Ross was born. The first poem I wrote was my son Ross and now I write down many of my thoughts and feelings in poetic form. I also make cards for my family and friends and I write verses for them so as to make them special.
